Start from scratch overview
When you select Start from scratch, you have three options: Outbound, Inbound, and Widget. To learn more, visit Types of Assistants.
All Assistants are interactive voice agents designed for real-time conversations.
Step-by-step: Start from scratch
1. Click Start from scratch.
2. Choose from the following three options:
a.Outbound
b.Inbound, or
c. Widget
a. Outbound
1. Customize your outbound Assistant from the Configure tab.
a. You'll need to assign a phone number before deploying.
2. On the Deployment page, you can:
a. Select a phone number.
b. Assign that phone number a caller ID, and
c. Set up a webhook to receive real-time notifications and data responses after making calls (optional).
b. Inbound
1. Customize your inbound Assistant from the Configure tab.
c. Widget
1. Customize your widget Assistant from the Configure tab.
