Custom greeting & variables

This guide offers a step-by-step approach to effectively using custom greetings and variables in your assistant, enhancing user interaction. By learning how to incorporate personalized elements like lead names and appointment types, you can create a more engaging experience for users.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Click into your Assistants Tab

2. Click to open an Assistant

3. Click "Configure"

4. Click "Custom Greeting"

5. Add a Custom Variable inside of "{ }"

6. It will now be available to you on the right to test.

7. Click and enter a {lead_name} to test.

8. To add Variable into your Prompt, Click "Prompt"

9. Click into the Prompt Text Area

10. Type " Confirm you are speaking with "

12. Click this text entry area

13. Add a Variable into the script by using {}. This example use the {lead_name} again.

14. Add another Variable using the same method. In this case {appointment_type}.

15. You can now see we have these available to us underneath the prompt.

16. To test your assistant using Variables passed in, enter value on the right hand side.

17. Select a number then press call.
