Call configuration overview
The Call Configuration tab allows you to fine-tune how your Assistant handles calls. You can control timing, call limits, reminders, and recordings to align with your needs.
Key settings include:
- Adjusting when and how the assistant speaks with Pause Before Speaking and Ring Duration.
- Managing idle time with automatic reminders and disconnect settings.
- Enhancing voice clarity with Speaker Boost.
- Setting call duration limits to maintain efficient conversations.
- Asking for consent before recording a call.
- Enabling call recordings and transcripts for documentation and analysis.
- Resetting all call-related settings to default values if needed.
These settings provide a foundation for configuring your Assistant’s behavior on calls.
Step-by-step: Call configuration
1. Click the Call Configuration tab.
2. From the Call Configuration tab, you can customize:
a. Pause Before Speaking: Set a delay before the Assistant starts speaking for a more natural flow.
b. Ring Duration: Adjust how long the phone rings before the Assistant answers.
c. Max. Idle Duration: Set how long the Assistant waits before disconnecting.
d. Idle Reminders: Send reminders after inactivity. You can:
- Toggle on or off.
- Set the idle time before a reminder.
e. Add a custom reminder message.
f. Speaker Boost: Enhance voice clarity to better match the original speaker.
g. Limit Call Duration: Set a maximum call length by toggling on or off and adjusting the slider.
h. Ask for recording consent: Ask for permission before recording a call.
i. Add a custom consent request.
j. Enable Recordings: Record calls for quality assurance, compliance, or review.
k. Enable Transcripts: Generate text transcripts for review and analysis.
l. Reset to Defaults: Restore all settings to their original system defaults.
